Webmaster Update
Over the past few weeks, Troop 72 has been actively volunteering at CU Boulder football games as part of our ongoing commitment to community service. During each game, our scouts have been stationed at every door leading from the air-conditioned indoor seating areas out to the stadium stands. Our role is to assist guests, provide directions, and ensure that fans have a safe and enjoyable experience.
These volunteer shifts are more than just a way to support the university—they also count as community service hours, which are a vital part of the Scouting program. Community service helps scouts build responsibility, leadership skills, and a sense of civic duty, all while giving back to organizations and events that bring people together.
This ongoing effort has not only strengthened our troop’s presence in the local community, but also offered scouts a unique opportunity to serve in a high-energy, real-world environment. It’s been a fun and rewarding way to make a difference while representing Troop 72 with pride.
