Crew 72 is the extreme and national high-adventure extension of Troop 72—where older youth take the lead, chart their own course, and turn big ideas into even bigger experiences. As part of the Venturing program, Crew 72 is open to young men and women ages 14–20 who are ready to take Scouting to the next level through leadership and outdoor challenges.

Our crew plans and executes its own adventures—backpacking deep into wilderness areas, rafting wild rivers, climbing crags, skiing backcountry slopes, and exploring new frontiers across Colorado and beyond. Each expedition is youth-led, emphasizing teamwork, planning, and self-reliance. A major high adventure base is planned for and visited most summers, allowing Venture Crew members to achieve the coveted Triple Crown.
