Court of Honor

August 24, 2020

Webmaster Update

Last week, Troop 72 held a Court of Honor at Camp Patiya. We gathered on a scenic hilltop—carefully spaced for social distancing—where we could enjoy stunning views of the mountains and watch the sun slowly set behind the peaks. The peaceful setting made for a perfect backdrop as the ceremony began.

Throughout the evening, many scouts were called forward to be recognized and applauded for their rank advancements and merit badge achievements. It was inspiring to see so many scouts progress to the next rank—a true reflection of their hard work and dedication. We also had the pleasure of officially welcoming two new scouts into our troop, marking an exciting start to their scouting journeys.

To celebrate, delicious Dutch oven cakes were brought out and enjoyed by all, adding a sweet ending to a memorable evening. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the troop shared a sense of pride and camaraderie that made the Court of Honor a special event for everyone involved.
